Have you changed the name of your Google Calendar on your PC or laptop? Many people do, to make the default Google Calendar name more meaningful to them.
But, then you go to your Google Calendar mobile app and the name change hasn’t come through! So you refresh the calendar app; uninstall and reinstall it; maybe you even remove your Google account from your phone and re-add it – all in the hope of getting that new Google Calendar name showing on your mobile app.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t matter what you do because for some reason known only to Google, no matter what you call your default calendar on the laptop it will always be named ‘Events’ on the mobile app.
Weird I know but absolutely true. And at least now you know it isn’t you – it is most definitely Google’s fault!
